HI STUDENTS....
IN THIS VIDEO YOU WILL BE LEARNING ABOUT BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT ACIDS AND BASES.
THE FOOD THAT WE HAVE DIFFERENT TASTES LIKE SWEET , BITTER, SOUR, SALTY AND SPICY. TASTE OF THE FOOD IS THE NATURE THE FOOD.
DID YOU EVER THINK ABOUT THE REASON FOR THE TASTE OF THE FOOD?
THE TASTE OF THE FOOD DEPENDS UPON THE SUBSTANCES OR COMPONENTS PRESENT IN THE FOOD. BUT ALL SUBSTANCES ARE NOT THE REASON FOR TASTE. THE SUBSTANCES WHICH ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR TASTE OF THE FOOD ARE ACIDIC AND BASIC SUBSTANCES.
IF THE TASTE OF A TYPE OF MATERIAL IS SOUR IN TASTE AND HAVE BURNING SENSATION, THEN THE NATURE OF THE MATERIAL IS SAID TO BE ACIDIC IN NATURE.
EXAMPLE: CITRUS FRUITS LIKE LEMON, ORANGE...ETC.
IF THE TASTE OF A TYPE OF MATERIAL IS BITTER IN TASTE AND SOAPY TO TOUCH, THEN THE NATURE OF THE MATERIAL IS SAID TO BE BASIC IN NATURE.
EXAMPLE: DETERGENTS SOAPS, SURF...ETC.
